The Zoomers to Boomers Business Show
Our goal is to speak to entrepreneurs from across all facets of the generational spectrum. We’ll be smashing stereotypes, encouraging genuine dialog, and breaking through barriers to real communication. We’ll discourage the practice of pointing fingers of blame across generations, and we’ll continue to tread on roads less traveled for most business shows. The Zoomers to Boomers Business Show
Boomers to Gen Z: Bridging the Generational Divide
A panel discussion about bridging the generational divide from Boomers to Gen Z. Stereotypes run deep and block meaningful communication between the generations. Hank Eder is representing Boomers. Entrepreneur Tara Ballard speaks for Gen X. BizRadio.US production manager, Aaron Mittan is here for Millennials, also known as Gen Y. Personal trainer and entrepreneur Ricky Shic is representing Gen Z.
We’ve all heard the rhetoric. Boomers are old codgers who chase you off their lawns, while Gen Z are a bunch of lazy bums who live in their parents’ basements and don’t want to work. The memes are everywhere! Truth is, that kind of talk does nothing but slam the doors of communication. No two members of any generation are alike, and stereotypes do everybody a disservice.
The generations can all learn from each other. This discussion is a step in the right direction.
